that everything rises and falls on leadership. Why? Because leadership is a
life wire of any organization and nation
With the
increasing demand for good leadership in our country, it has become a challenge
at all levels to fulfill the needs and expectations of the general populace.
Leadership skills and training continues to be scarce in a nation crying out
for role models and great leaders. We as an organization seek to do what we
know best- assisting and empowering those that need help.
CORNERSTONE YOUTH
DEVELOPMENT CENTRE LEADERSHIP TRAINING PROGRAMME is aimed at initiating, equipping and developing the potential of
the young people with relevant skills required for them to succeed in their
leadership position. It is also engineered towards improving the performance of
the young leaders on continuous basis for corporate success and individual
fulfillment coupled with the ability to lead the nation/organization/school
they represent toward greater achievement in the future.
The objectives of the leadership programme are to:

To increase the capacity of these
young people to lead themselves and their nation.
o
Introduce youth to the true
meaning of leadership and offer them some abstract tools and skills for transformational
leadership.
o
Help youth through the process of
self discovery and recognizing their inherent potential and inspire them to
take the lead and be the best.
o
Give support to the youth on how
to transform and impact their community positively in order to apply what they
have learnt through the training programme as well as to improve the lives of
others.

Course Description
The training sessions have been
developed from emerging leadership thoughts in recognition of today’s
competitive corporate world. The course contents will consist of power point presentations,
scenarios, case studies, breakout sessions, group discussions, activities,
games, panel discussion, home work and personal / group action plans.
